BOMBANANA Waves that refuse to stay polite
Endless is generated. It keeps getting harder. Campaign taught the sentence. This mode grades it.
BOMBANANA Endless is the exam, not the classroom. Lefto Studio shipped it on 2 September 2026 in the full Steam build (app 4656000, published by TARK) as a procedurally generated, wave-based playlist that keeps getting harder. Campaign Levels is thirty handcrafted bombs. Endless does not pause to introduce a family. If the trio still argues about left and right, stay in Campaign or drill in Custom bombs first.
You still need exactly three online players on Windows or macOS. Blind Monkey still touches the bomb, cannot see colors or screens, reads braille by touch, and hears speech. Mute Monkey still holds the manual and cannot speak. Deaf Monkey still sees and speaks and cannot hear. The chain is still Mute to Deaf to Blind. Endless does not unlock a fourth sense. It only shortens the time you have to use the three you already split.
Start from Getting Started if you have not cleared a casing. Use this page when the authored curve feels slow and you want a mix the thirty levels have not shown you yet.
What a wave actually changes
A wave is a new bomb, or a new stack on the case, generated from the module pool instead of from a designer’s beat sheet. Early waves can look like a polite Campaign stage: wires, a direction pad, a timer you can still narrate. Later waves add families in parallel, then CHAOS work that keeps Blind busy, then hazards that sit on top of a voice chain that was already thin.
The fourteen launch modules still apply: eleven standard puzzles and three CHAOS modules. This wiki will not invent names or answer keys for those tables. What Endless does with them is the point. Campaign feeds you a family, lets you fail it, lets you replay the same authored mix. Endless can throw a keypad, a switch panel, and a CHAOS job on the same casing while a power outage eats the LEDs. That is educational if your packets are already clean. It is a friendship test if they are not.
Timer pressure climbs because a slow Mute page that was fine on Campaign level eight is now overlapping the next wave’s busy work. Mistake limits are not a kindness here the way they can be in Custom. Treat every wrong cut as a run ender until you have seen otherwise on that wave. Rank the families by talk load on the module tier list after a wipe, not during one.
When Endless is worth the queue
Play Endless when:
- Wires, direction, the jumbled keypad, and switches each have a count-first packet.
- CHAOS does not make Blind skip the repeat-back.
- Deaf can see Mute during a hazard instead of walking through it while talking.
- You can reseat between bombs without arguing about who threw.
Do not play Endless to learn signs. Do not play Endless as a substitute for Puzzle Modules. A wave that stacks two high-talk families plus noise is not proof that a module is broken. It is proof you picked the stress playlist.
HowLongToBeat community estimates put the Campaign main story around two hours. That is a community estimate, not an official Lefto number, and it does not describe Endless. Waves do not have a credits screen. Your night ends when the trio stops, not when a designer says the course is over. Rank the three playlists on the mode tier list once you have touched all three.
Workplaces, hazards, and slapstick you cannot afford
Endless uses the same launch workplaces as the rest of the product: the minivan workshop and the airplane. Geometry still matters. Mute may have to move so Deaf can read an emote. Blind may have a longer walk to the casing. Environments is the room-by-room version. Read it before you treat the cabin as a comedy set during a live wave.
Hazards are the same three: power outages, obstructions, and loud interruptions. Outages steal colors and screens from the sighted jobs. Obstructions steal Blind’s hands. Noise steals the sentence Blind was about to hear. Stop the input. Clear the room. Reread the module from scratch. Reusing a number from before the lights died is how you type the old equation into a new pad.
Slapping, objects, and emotes still exist. They are legal. They are also how a wave dies while someone hunts a banana. Agree that during a module, emotes mean wait, yes, wrong, and repeat. After the defuse, you can waste five seconds. Public Endless in the server browser will not honor that rule. Host a room code if you care about a streak. Playing Co-op and lobby setup cover the browser versus a private box.
Recover without lying to yourselves
After a wipe, name the wave’s broken step, not the person. Mute looked at the wrong page. Deaf skipped the wire count. Blind cut on a maybe. Then decide whether the next click is another Endless bomb or a Custom drill.
If a family broke, leave Endless. Open Custom, isolate that type, lengthen the timer, and turn hazards off until the packet is boring. Come back to waves when the isolated family no longer needs a debate. Swap roles every few wipes so Endless does not crown one person as Mute forever. Role pages live on the players hub. The role tier list is a pain ranking, not a personality test. Two colorblind modes belong in Options before you blame a generated LED. Steam Deck is still Unknown; do not plan a living-room Endless night around a Deck until you test it.
The June 2026 demo (app 4747510) launched 15 June and came down around 20 August so Lefto could test full features. The studio said the demo would return at full launch with the same slice plus extras. That demo had a short ladder and a sandbox. It was not Endless. Do not quote Free Mode settings as a wave strategy. History sits on the demo notes and the launch notes.
Price is $7.99, introductory $4.95 through 9 September 2026. Early full-game reviews sit at Very Positive, about 78 reviews and 100 percent positive at last check. Endless is part of that product, not a coming attraction. If a patch retunes wave timing, read patch notes before you rewrite your night plan.
Keep the callout sheet on a second screen. Bind wait on Controls. Talk one direction with Communication. Hardware questions belong on system requirements. When you want the rest of the walkthroughs, go back to the guides hub. The wiki hub is the short fact sheet if a friend only wants the player count. If you are still deciding whether waves are the night you paid for, the BOMBANANA review is honest about the argument.
Endless will not make you faster at reading. It will tell you whether your sentence survives when the case will not sit still. That is the whole pitch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for three-player bomb runs.
What is Endless mode in BOMBANANA?
A procedurally generated, wave-based playlist that keeps getting harder. It is not the thirty handcrafted Campaign levels and not a Custom drill you configured yourself.
Should a new trio start in Endless?
No. Learn the Mute to Deaf to Blind sentence in Campaign or a gentle Custom bomb first. Waves will not pause for a dictionary argument.
How long does Endless last?
Until you wipe or quit. HowLongToBeat's roughly two-hour figure is a community estimate for Campaign, not an official Lefto length and not an Endless timer.
Do Endless bombs use the airplane and the van?
Yes. Both launch workplaces can show up, with outages, obstructions, and noise. See environments for how to clear a room before the next cut.
What should we do after an Endless wipe?
Name the broken step, isolate that module family in Custom, then return. Rank the pain on the module tier list and the playlist on the mode tier list.
Is public Endless a good idea?
Only if slapstick is the night you wanted. Host a room code if you care about a streak. Playing Co-op covers the server browser versus a private lobby.
